Short Biography

Tae Colbert (she/her), Ed.S., MA, LCMHC, NCSP, is the Clinical Lead at Mosaic. She provides private-pay comprehensive evaluations and low-demand, neurodiversity-affirming counseling for Autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, and self-identifying neurodivergent adults and teens (13+). Her 100% virtual, weekend-based practice focuses on helping clients navigate systemic friction and translate self-awareness into practical strategies for daily life, all without pressure.

Therapy Philosophy

My approach is grounded in Bioecological Theory, focusing on how your entire environment, including systemic barriers and social expectations, impacts your well-being. Using a decolonizing and narrative lens, I help clients navigate the ways they have used camouflaging to survive. Progress in our work is not about conforming to neurotypical standards. It is about increasing self-advocacy, reducing burnout, honoring your actual capacity, and building a life that feels manageable and meaningful rather than obligatory and exhausting.

Special Training & Certifications

I have specialized clinical training in comprehensive Autism and ADHD assessments, as well as therapeutic treatment for neurodivergent adults and teens (13+). My diagnostic framework utilizes affirming tools which are designed to capture a client's internal lived experience rather than relying on deficit-based observations. Recognizing the integrated nature of Autistic and ADHD processing profiles, my clinical approach incorporates Narrative, Existential, and Person-Centered therapies within a Bioecological model. This allows me to provide targeted, cohesive support for capacity management, self-advocacy, and identity integration.
