Short Biography

My name is Stella Monnier, Mauritian-born. I am an integrative counsellor and ecopsychologist working online in English, French and Creole. I hold an MSc in Psychology and a Doctorate in Ecopsychology. I offer a warm, collaborative space to explore emotional difficulties, relationships, identity, belonging and life transitions, with particular attention to cultural experiences and the wider conditions shaping our lives.

Therapy Philosophy

I approach counselling with curiosity, compassion and respect for different ways of knowing. Together, we explore your experiences within the context of your relationships, culture, history and environment. My practice draws on humanistic, narrative and ecopsychological perspectives, with attention to how power, inequality and disconnection can shape distress. We work at your pace, making room for words, bodily awareness and creative expression in ways that feel meaningful to you.

Special Training & Certifications

My training includes an MSc in Psychology, a Doctorate in Ecopsychology, and additional training in trauma-informed and somatic approaches. I am an ACCPH Accredited Member, and my counselling work is supported by ongoing clinical supervision.
