Short Biography

Charnise Howcroft-Chapple, MA, is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. Charnise obtained her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in LGBT Affirmative Therapy from Antioch University Los Angeles. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Minor in Human Sexuality, Minor in Queer Studies from California State University, Northridge. Charnise has been an avid volunteer at the Los Angeles LGBT Center for over 4 years. Charnise served in the United States Army for 6 years.

My therapeutic approach is Integrative incorporating many different therapeutic techniques. Charnise practice’s Psycho Dynamic therapy, influenced by post-modern feminist therapy, LGBT+ Affirmative therapy, Intersectional, and social justice frameworks.
